Terminator, Matrix or even 2001: A Space Odyssey are classics of science-fiction films that have determined our perception of Artificial Intelligence. Scientists blindly coming up with the next technological marvel show us how yet another job can be replaced by robots. The forecasts of the labor market subjected to automation and AI are also fearful and worrying.
Does it have to be this way? Or even – is it actually happening?
In my presentation, I'm going to present a different vision of Artificial Intelligence.
Based on support and augmentation instead of replacement and elimination.
AI vision focused on people and their needs and possibilities.
We will go back to the crazy 1960s, in which these visions for AI were born, we will trace how they developed over the years and how their echoes are reflected even in last year's documents defining the AI development strategy in the European Union, and especially in Poland.
The presentation will be held by Łukasz Blechar, MA.
